Keeping in the theme of all things chilly, our latest letter of the week craft is the Letter I craft!

I is for Igloo!

Last week we made hot chocolate with our H Craft for kids so this week is another great one for learning about or thinking about colder weather!

Letter I Craft: I is for Igloo

Carrigan is heading into her last year of preschool this year! She's all about the alphabet and identifying the letters she already knows. I'm pretty sure she would spend hours asking me to identify letters she sees on signs when we're out and about.

That makes this Letter I Craft perfect for her! It's a fun way to get more experience (and one that they just might remember) with a letter that she has in her name!

There is one tricky thing about this Letter I Activity though. I have to warn you. The kids use mini marshmallows for this one! If your child is like Carrigan, then a fair share of marshmallows will be eaten during the creation of this Letter I craft.

You have been warned!

If you have a child who gets easily frustrated when things don't match up perfectly, be prepared! Depending on the shapes and sizes of the marshmallows, it's not always a perfect fit. They can try a different marshmallow if they want.

I also remind mine that the letter shape is just a guide to help them know where to stick the marshmallows and that it doesn't have to be perfect!

6. Let dry completely.
